May/june Favorites

Today I want to share my monthly favorites with you guys. Because off exams I didn't have time to post one last month, so these are a combination of my favorites from both may and june.

M.A.C. Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone - I actually purchased this a couple of months ago, but didn't really get into using it until last month. I've noticed that it helps my foundation last longer and keeps the shine away a couple of hours extra and it looks good under my foundation as well. Plus it's smells really nice.

Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet - This is my favorite foundation, it looks so beautiful and natural on the skin and the matte finish also helps preventing shine throughout the day.

Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in 'Golden Light 1' - This bronzer is beautiful, the color is really nice and the texture is finely milled and very smooth. Plus I love the packaging, simle and chic.

MaxFactor Creme Puff blush in '10 Nude Mauve' - As I mentioned in my haul post, I've almost only been wearing this blush ever since purchasing it. It's so beautiful and gives a nice sheen to the cheeks, plus this color goes with any makeup look you want to do. Highly recommend!

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick 'Golden Bronze' - I've already mentioned this a couple of times (here and here). I really like the color, the texture and the finish of this shadow stick, it's quick and easy to use and is really long lasting on my eyes as well.

MaxFactor Exess Shimmer in '20 Copper' - This eyeshadow has the weirdest texture I've ever tried, it's so creamy that you would really think it would crease right away, but it lasts all day on my eyes. This shade is a beautiful light shimmery taupe that is perfect for everyday wear.

Clarins Instant Comfort Lip Oil in '01 Miel' - To read my rave about this lip oil just press here!

Dior Rouge Dior Brillant in '263 Swan' - This lipgloss is really moisturizing and comfortable on the lips, not sticky at all. And the color is a beautiful dark dusty pink that is really nice for everyday wear.

e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator - This is the best lip exfoliator I've tried, it smells really nice and leaves a moisturizing residue on the lips afterwards. It really exfoliates without being harsh and lipstick tube just makes it so easy and pleasant to use.

Those were all my favorites I hope you enjoyed and have a great day!

April Favorites

This months favorites is out a little late, but these are non the less some of the things I've been loving last month. Check them out!

Origins GinZing moisturizer - This is one of the very few moisturizers I've repurchased, that's how much I like it! It's the perfect day time moisturizer for my combination skin, especially when it gets a bit oilier during the warmer months. It smells amazing and the texture is light and gel like and it sinks into the skin quickly without leaving a greasy residue on the skin. I highly recommend this one!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream - I've been loving this eye cream this last month. I've only been using it in my night time skincare routine, but I could imagine it's really nice to use during the day as well. It has a really nice texture and moisturizes the skin around the eye really well. I could see myself repurchasing this eye cream as well!

Dior Huile Abricot - I purchased this after reading a lot of good reviews about it on Feelunique.com and when they were having a 15% off everything sale I decided to purchase it and try it out. But I was still a bit sceptic. But seeing it here you can probably guess that I ended up really liking it. I like using it on my bare nails and leaving it on during the night. The tube makes it really easy to use and non messy. It makes my cuticles look really good and feel hydrated.

Laura Mercier Face Illuminator 'Spellbound' - I bought this probably two years ago but since it was limited edition I couldn't talk about it too much on my blog, but I have been loving it non the less. Now I saw Laura Mercier had brought it back under a different name 'Indiscretion' but I think it's the same exact highlighter, so I thought I could mention it. The color is a bit dark and bronzy for my normal skin color, but during the summer months I really love wearing it and have pulled it back out the last couple of weeks. It's a beautiful highlighter, so if you can get your hands on 'Indiscretion' I definitely recommend it.

Burberry Eye Colour Silk 'Pale Barley' - I've already talked about this eyeshadow here so I won't go too much on about it, but I wanted to quickly mention it as it has been a great everyday one-shadow eyeshadow for me this month. And I also wanted to tell you guys that Feelunique.com now are selling Burberry and as they often have great sales it's definitely worth keeping and eye out for them if you don't feel like spending that much on one eyeshadow or lipstick.

Sigma Tapered Blending - E40 - I've been using this brush the last couple of months for my highlighter. I really like using a smaller brush to get more precise application, and this one works really well for that.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine #15 - I've been really enjoying this creamy peachy lipstick since the weather has been warmer and the formula on these is seriously nice and well worth the money, but again I would definitely wait till a 15% or 20% off sale is on.

Dior Addict Fluid Stick '373 Rieuse' - Ever since the Fluid Sticks came out a year ago I've been really loving them. Specially this color has been a great everyday fresh color for me all year but especially in the spring/summer months. I highly recommend this color and the formula on these are also really nice and last long on the lips.

This month I did have a couple of favorites, but I hope you enjoyed and found it helpfull. Thank you for reading and have a great day!

March Favorites

It's time for yet another monthly favorites. Here goes:

Real Techniques Duo Fiber Collection - this set is said to be limited edition, but I think it's been out for a couple of years now. I bought this set because I didn't have any duo fiber brushes and I really wanted to try some, but when I got these I had no idea how I could use them in my daily routine, now that I've had them for about a year I've finally found a way to use all three of them almost daily.

Duo-fiber face brush, is the largest one, this one I use every day to blend the edges of bronzer and blush, and it always gives the cheeks a seemless and blended look.

Duo-fiber contour brush, is the one in the middle, this one I use when I'm wearing a cream or thicker foundation, the bristles of this brush really help to blend a thicker foundation out without it looking cakey at all.

Duo-fiber eye brush, is the smallest one, this one I love to use for blending the edges of eyeshadow, it blends eyeshadow easily and quickly, this one is also great to use for concealer under the eyes, if you have a more thick creamy concealer.

Bobbi Brown Lip Liner in 'Pale Pink' - I've already mentioned this lip liner here and here. I really like it, the color is great for every day and the formula is nice and long lasting. It goes really well with all my nude lipsticks and lipglosses, and I've been wearing it in different combinations all month.

Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-in-Oil in '04 Pink About Me' - I've also mentioned this one here. I really like the nourishing formula and the slight color this gives. When I've worn this an entire day and reapplied a couple of times throughout the day it gives a deeper pink color, but still looks nice and natural on the lips.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream - This month I've been using this on my lips every night before bed and I don't think my lips have ever been more nourished. I had pretty chapped lips before this month and I've found that the condition of my lips are much better. I also like using this on dry patches and if my hand are particularly dry I've used this on them, and it has completely changed the skin for the better!

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in - 'Beige' - Coming into the warmer months I've been reaching for this highlighter more. Since I have pretty fair skin I feel like this suits me better when I have a bit more color to the skin, but it's not too dark so that I can't wear it all year. It gives a beautiful but a bit intense shimmery champagne/bronze color to the cheek bones and look amazing! Highly recommend.

L'Oréal Color Riche in '200 Over the Taupe' - This has been my most used eyeshadow all month. It's great for a one shadow look all by itself or in combination with others. It looks great as a sheer wash of color, packed on the lids or with some fix+ as a metallic intense color. So there are a variety of different looks you can do with just one shadow. This is definitely one of my favorites!

Those were all for this months. Thank you for reading and have a great day!

February Favorites

Like I've already mentioned last month was all about moving and for about half the month most of my makeup was packed away, so this favorite will be short but these have non the less been some really good favorites!

Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow 'D-562' - These new MUFE eyeshadows are amazing, the one I have is in the Diamond finish which means it has a lot of metallicness to it. I love wearing it wet on the eyelids and it gives a beautiful bronze shimmery look to the eyes. Great pigmentation and you get a lot of product for the money. Highly recommend and I would like to get some other colors as well.

Lancome 17 Blending Shadow brush - I've been using this brush all month for my transition color and to blend eyeshadows as well. The bristles are incredibly soft and the brush blends out eyeshadow super quickly and easily. The quality is really great!

Nars Audacious Lipstick 'Anita' - Also a newer launch that I really like. This is a great everyday color. I don't like how it looks when I pack the color on, but when I dap it it gives a 'my lips but better' color with a matte finish that lasts all day without feeling uncomfortable on the lips.

Rimmel Apocalips 'Celestial' - This is a very similar color to the Nars one but with a different finish. This one is a high shine laquer with lots of pigmentation and the color is again a 'my lips but better' when the shine wears of it leaves the color that lasts really long as well.

These were all my favorites for the last month. I hope you enjoyed and have a great day! xo

Top 14 Makeup Products of 2014

I quickly want to share my top 14 makeup products of 2014. These are the ones that I've used and loved the most out of them all.

1. Dior Pore Minimizer - I never put on makeup without this primer, it really helps keep my t-zone matte throughout the day. And this tube has lasted really long as well.

2. Chanel Perfection Lumiére Velvet - This is the best foundation I've tried so far. The finish is nice, coverage is good and it mattifies really well.

3. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer - This is also the best concealer I've found, it's creamy, doesn't crease and the coverage is really good.

4. Nilens Jord bronzer '531' - This has been the bronzer I've used all year, until I finished it completely a couple of months ago. The color is really nice and the powder is finely milled so it blends out really nicely.

5. Chanel Le Blush Creme '64 Inspiration' - This was the year I really got the hang of using creme blushes, and this one from Chanel blends like a powder. There are no streaks or uneven color but it blends really nice and quick.

6. Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder 'Candlelight' - Such a beautiful highlight, it gives a subtle champagne glow to the cheekbones without being too much, it's really finely milled and the shimmer is really beautiful.

7. Dior Fusion Mono '661 Météore' - This is probably my most used single eyeshadow of all time. It's a golden bronze with lots of shimmer and an easy one shadow eyeshadow, you can just pack this all over the lids and call it a day.

8. Stila Magnificent Metals 'Kitten' - Even though this eyeshadow is pretty new I had to include it since I've never seen an eyeshadow like this! It's the most metallic glittery/shimmery beautiful champagne eyeshadow I've ever seen. As it's so metallic it's maybe not so easy to use for everyday, but I still love it!

9. M.A.C. Pigment 'Tan' - I first tried the pigments from M.A.C. this year, and I really love them. Tan is my favorite color and applied wet it gives a beautiful rosegold metallic foiled look.

10. Lorac Unzipped - My favorite palette this year has to be this one. The eyeshadows are super pigmented, blend easily and are so beautiful. I really like every shade in this palette.

11. Clinique Bottom Lash mascara - Has been the best mascara find. It doesn't smudge and gets all the small eyelashes.

12. Dior Creme de Rose - Has been the best lip balm of the year, unfortunately it's discontinued in Europe, but still available in the US. It's definitely worth the money.

13. Dior Addict Fluid Stick '373 Rieuse' - One of the best new launches this year were the Fluid Sticks by Dior. Intens pigmentation, smooth on the lips and beautiful packaging, yes, that counts too ;) Especially the color Rieuse has been my favorite and is a wearable everyday nude color.

14. Beauty Blender - I can't have a yearly favorite without mentioning this makeup tool. It's probably the only thing I've been applying my foundation with all year. It gives it such a natural skin like finish. I can't be without it. Highly recommend!

These have definitely been standouts for me this year. I hope you enjoyed and found it helpfull.
Thank you for reading and have a great day! xo

December Favorites

These are the last favorites of 2014, and I have quite a lot this time, so I will try and make it short. Let's get started.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation 'Warm Ivory 1' - This foundation has a beautiful skin like finish, as the name suggests, the color is my perfect match for winter and the finish is really nice when my skin is slightly drier in the cold months. I don't think this is a foundation I will be able to use in summer, as my t-zone will be a lot oilier.

Ciaté 'Antique Brooch' - I've already shown this nail polish here and here. This is a beautiful rose gold glittery nail polish that is quite opaque if you pack it on the nails. I've been wearing this a lot this holiday.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate - This is a really nice oil that I like to use about every other night alone or mixed in with my moisturizer. My skin always look healthier and more luminous the next morning.

Dior Fusion Mono eyeshadow '621 Mirror' - I've also shown this eyeshadow in action here. I really love this color, it's a really light shimmery gold, you can build the color up a bit so it gives more of a gold sheen off on the lids. This is perfect for every day wear.

Caudalie Mini Hand Cream - This has also been mentioned on the blog already here, but I think they should get one last mention as they are on sale on Feelunique right now. These are great to have in your purse or makeup bag, they are really moisturizing and sink into the skin quickly without leaving an oily residue. So great to use on the go.

Brush Cleaning Egg - This is a newer find from ebay and I've only used it twice, but I can already say I love it! I will put a blog post up next week showing you how I use it exactly, but for now I can say it really helps clean my brushes well and quick.

Lancome Lip Lover '320' - This lipgloss formula is one of the nicest I've tried. It's super moisturizing, feels really good on the lips and gives a lot of color too. This color is a beautiful medium melon color with a hint of shimmer.

M.A.C. 168 - This large angled brush I love to use with my bronzer, the size and shape makes it easy and quick to carve cheekbones out and give the face some dimension. The bristles are really soft as well.

Thank you for reading I hope you found this post useful and have a great day! xo

November Favorites

It's time for yet another monthly favorite and this is the second to last one this year. How time flies when having fun!

Caudalie Grape Water - This is a great toner, I use it morning and night. The packaging is great and makes it easy to apply, you just spray it directly on the face. It has really good ingrediens as well, it only contains Grape Fruit Water and Grape Fruit Juice as well as nitrogen. It hydrates the skin really well and soothes it after washing.

Dior Rouge Dior '999' - This is a beautiful lipstick especially for the holidays coming up. It's a dark red moisturizing and pigmented lipstick. I've already talked about it and showed it in action here.

Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette 'Montaigne' - I got this sample size palette in a gift box last month, also shown here. It's super cute and mini, but the quality of the eyeshadows is still really nice and I've been using it a lot since getting it. The colors are light and wearable for everyday.

Mac Pigment 'Tan' - This is a beautiful rosegold/tan eyeshadow. It can be worn sheer all over the lid or spray your brush with Fix+ or something like that and it will give you the most beautiful metallic look on the lids. It also looks great paired with darker lip colors, so again perfect for the holidays.

Acrylic Nail Art Pearls - I've already mentioned these here and here, they are so easy to work with, and you get three different sized pearls which gives you the chance to create a lot of different looks. I've already worn them many times in different combinations and I really love the look each time!

White Wax Pencil - I use this to pick and place the pearls on my nails. The wax in the pencil make them stick nicely so you can get a precise application without dropping them. These pencils come in a pack of four and are super affordable, so I highly recommend buying these if you want to play around with different nail arts. They will help you out a lot!

Those were my favorites for the past month. I hope you liked it and thank you for reading! xo

Oktober Favorites

This months favorites I feel are really good, so I hope you get some inspiration!

Moroccanoil Treatment - I put one pump of this through the ends of my hair every night and it leaves them really smooth and soft. And though it's expensive you don't use much so it will last you a long time and you really get what you pay for here. Highly recommend!

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - I use this for my eye cream at night and it has a thick and creamy texture that feels really hydrating on the eye area.

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer 'Warm Ivory' - This is the best concealer I've ever found. It's really creamy, doesn't make the under eyes look dry at all and has great coverage without collecting in the fine lines. I've been looking for a good concealer for a long time and have definitely found the perfect one!

O.P.I Glitter Off Base Coat - you could probably guess this would be in here if you've read my blog this past month. This is the best thing that has ever happened to glitter nail polishes and I love wearing them now only because of this base coat. Read my full review here.

Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 'Mango' - this is a great lip balm, moisturizing and smells really nice. It leaves a nice glossy finish on the lips as well.

Bobbi Brown Lip Liner 'Red' - I know this is going to be a stable for me going in to the holidays. This is a really great universal red lip liner that will go great with all you red lipsticks or lipglosses and will help them stay put and not bleed.

Thank you for reading and have a great day! xo

September Favorites

Welcome to another monthly favorites, let's jump into it...

Dior Backstage Pore Minimizer Skin Refining Matte Primer - I just realized that I only two months ago featured this in a monthly favorites as well. But that just goes to show how much I like this! It has really helped my makeup last longer and my t-zone to stay matte a lot longer during the day.

Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet in 'B10' - Has also been a great help keeping my t-zone matte throughout the day. It's a beautiful mattifying foundation and the color matches my skin really well.

Nar Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in 'Goddess' - This is a great shadow pencil to use to intensify other eyeshadows, it can unfortunately not be used alone as it creases really bad, but underneath other shadows it really brings the color out and also shines a bit of rose gold through.

Dior Backstage Medium Eyeshadow Brush 21 - I absolutely love this brush, it pack on the color as well as blending the edges a little at the same time. I've already talked a bit more about it here.

Lorac Unzipped - This is a beautiful eyeshadow palette that has everything you need in one place. The packaging as well is really nice and sleek which means it's great for traveling. The colors have a rose golden theme to them and all work really well together. They are smooth, pigmented and blend easily as well. I've already spoken about some of my favorite shades here.

Thank you for reading and have a great day. xo

August Favorties

This month I don't have to many favorites to talk about, but these are some seriously great things I've been using this month and that I'm so happy I've found.

Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream - The thing I always search for in hand creams is that they should moisturize my hands but still dry quickly and not leave a greasy residue. Which is a pretty difficult combination to find. But search no longer I've found it in this hand cream. It leaves my hands super soft and nourished and dries really quickly leaving no greasy residue.

Clinique Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer - This is the best night time moisturizer I've found so far. It's a very thick cream but it gives the skin so much moisture during the night and the next morning the skin look great, radiance and moisturized.

Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow '93 Complice' - I've been loving this eyeshadow for lazy days as an quick all over the lids eyeshadow. It's such a beautiful shimmery golden champagne color with a hint of rose gold. Delivers very good color pay off and blends super easily.

The Body Shop Lip Liner Fixer - Usually I don't wear lip liners to much, but the some of the lipsticks I own tend to bleed outside my lip line, which is not a cute look. After a friend told me about this one I thought I had to give it a try. And this thing works wonders. I tried it with the lipstick I know bleeds the most throughout the day and wore it for more than 12 hours on work and café with friends afterwards and my lipstick stayed in place the whole entire day. There was no sign of any lipstick outside my lip line and it was all thanks to this lipliner. I highly recommend!

Benefit Gimme Brow 'light/medium' - I'm not one to spend a long time on my brows so this is made for me. I quickly run it through my brows, it sets them in place, the little fibers in it also make my brows look a bit fuller, it's the perfect color for my brows and I just can not stop using it. It will also be perfect for school morning when you don't have a lot of time to do your makeup.

So those were the things I've been loving this month. I have to say, all these things are amazing and I highly recommend every single one of them! I hope this was of some inspiration. Thank you for reading and have a great weekend.

July Favorites

This month I have quite the products to be talking about, so let's get started.

Garnier BB Cream Combination/Oily - throughout the day I tend to get a bit shiny down my t-zone, so I wanted to try this BB cream from Garnier after hearing a lot of good things about it. It really helps my skin being matte in the warm days and the lightest color matches me great now.

Dior Pore Minimizer Skin Refining Matte Primer - underneath my BB cream I've been using this primer from Dior for about two or three months now, and I can truly say this is the best I've ever tried. It's expensive but I really think you get what you pay for here. It keeps my skin matte all day, I do have to powder about one time during the day but it's only my nose, which is considerably better then before using this.

M.A.C. Fix+ - I've been setting my makeup with this setting spray this entire month. Firstly it smells great but it also helps the makeup last and look less cakey. I relly enjoy!

M2 Lashes Eyelash Activating Serum - I won't be saying much about this product because I will have an entire blog post up in a couple of weeks with before and after pictures after using this. I can quickly say it has changed my eyelash life!!!

Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara - after hearing a lot of raves about this mascara I finally decided to try it out. And this is by far my new all time favorite mascara. It gives beautiful length and volume with absolutely no clumps, separates and gives the lashes a nice curl. What more can you wish for?!

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara - and for my bottom lashes I've been using this tiny mascara. Firstly I love the packaging, and secondly I love the product. I think I've been very lucky on the mascara front lately. This one separates and gives really nice length to the bottom lashes, and it doesn't smudge which usually is my biggest problem. I love!

Sigma F25 - Tapered Face - my newest addition in the brush family is a beautiful big, fluffy, soft and tapered brush from Sigma. I've been using this for powder, bronzer or blush and love it for everything. Really soft and blends easily product out on the face.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipstick - mine is in #1 Nude Beige. And I finally think I've found the perfect nude lip color for me. I've been looking for  a long time but only found ones that were to brown for my skin tone. This one has just the right amount of pink undertones. And the formula is really nice as well as the packaging.

Thank you guys so much for reading and I hope you found some inspiration. Have a great day!

June Favorites

Last months favorites are coming to you a little late this time as we're already a week into the next month, but I still wanted to share with you guys the things I've been loving.

The Body Shop Body Sorbet 'Satsuma' - This is a new launch from The Body Shop and I think the Satsuma scent might be my new favorite from them. This is a body sorbet (lotion) that you keep in your refrigerator so that it's nice and cooling to your skin when you apply it. I really like it and as I mentioned I absolutely love the scent!

Ciaté 'Ferris Wheel' - This is one of my favorite nail polishes this summer, the bottle is super cute and the color is a beautiful summery color.

Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil '011 Sable Brown' - I really like the Rimmel kohl eyeliners and this one is my latest find, it's a nice brown color and it's super soft and smooth to apply and blends nicely as well. And for the price point I can't recommend them enough!

Lorac Pocket Pro - I bought this a few months ago from amazon.com along with some other things and used the shopusa.dk webside to ship the things to Denmark, so that there wouldn't be any extra taxes from the post office. As you can tell from the picture the light shimmery beige/pink color unfortunately cracked a bit in it's journey across the Atlantic, but other than that this is a beautiful little palette. Gorgeous colors, very smooth and blendable, some of the best quality shadows I own!

Maybelline Color Elixir Lipglosses - These are lipglosses Maybelline have come out with quite some time ago but are still not available here in Denmark, so I've purchased these three through ebay. They are great quality, nicely pigmented and not sticky at all, the colors are beautiful as well, I have 'Breathtaking Apricot', 'Hibiscus Haven' and 'Caramel Infused' and I'm very happy with them all! The only thing I can say is that I don't like the smell or taste very well, but I like the glosses them selves enough to use them any way.

Thank you for reading, I hope this was inspiring to you and have a great day! :)

May Favorites

Here's a round up of some of my favorites the past month:

Bioderma - After hearing so many good things about the Bioderma Sensibio H2O makeup remover I finally picked it up for my self. To start of I picked the smallest size, and I really like it! It removes makeup really quick and easily. I usually use it after I've cleansed my face and the rest of mascara I didn't get of I take a cotton pad with some Bioderma and remove the rest. It's quick and easy and removes every last bit of makeup. Will definitely be picking the largest bottle up next time, and this one will be great for traveling.

Origins GinZing Energy-boosting moisturizer - This is also one I've heard a lot of great things about, and I have to say I agree. It's a great day moisturizer with a gel like formula that sinks into the skin quickly and has a really pleasant orange scent to it. Definitely recommend this one if you been looking for a new moisturizer!

Chanel Les Beiges Healty Glow Sheer Powder - I always carry this around with me in my makeup bag. It's a beautiful powder that is great for touch ups during the day as it doesn't cake up but only mattes down your face. And it smells really good as well.

Dior Addict Fluid Stick '373 Rieuse' - This is a new release from Dior and I am all about it! These lipgloss/lipstick hybrids are the bomb! They have beautiful color payoff and a glossy finish, slightly sticky but that means the last quite long on the lips as well. I have some other colors on my wishlist as well, these are really great.

Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Contour Brush - I used to only use this brush for my cream blush, but this past month I've been using it for my Clinique Stay-Matte foundation that seemed a bit heavy on my skin, so this duo-fiber brush really helped giving it a more light and skin like look on my face. It's a grea brush for foundation or cream products.

The Body Shop Blusher Brush - I'm sorry, I think this was a limited edition brush that is no longer available :/ wups... But non the less I've been loving pairing this with my Chanel powder to blot my face throughout the day. And it just looks so cute!

Blendercleanser Solid - This bar of soap is amazing! It's made for the Beauty Blender which I also use it for but I love using it for my makeup brushes as well. It deep cleans them really quickly and you only use a tiny amount when you're washing your brushes, so this will last a really long time which is great. I highly recommend this for washing your sponges and brushes!

These were my favorites this month, thank you for reading. And have a great day! :)

April Favorites

It's favorites time! And this time I don't have too much to talk about, let's get started.

Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre '20 Clair' - This huge tub off loose powder is amazing! My t-zone gets pretty oily through the day and this powder really helps keep that shine at bay. It's sets my makeup without looking powdery and this tub will last you a long time. I highly recommend!

Philosophy Purity Made Simple - Philosophy is not a brand that is easily accessible here in Denmark, but I bought two of these bottles for a really good price on ebay. This cleanser is supposed to remove makeup, cleanse your face and act as a toner all in one. And I love how simple and quick it has made my evening routine having those three steps in one. I also use it in the morning. And it gets rid off all my makeup quick and easy, I really like it!

Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Powder 'Candlelight' - This is the most beautiful highlighter I've ever seen. It's a nice beige champagne color with golden shimmer, but the powder is so finely milled that the only thing you can see on the face is a subtle sheen, no glitter or anything just a glow from within. It's not a cheap one but it's so beautiful I really think it's worth it! And you don't need too much so it will last a long time as well.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal '001 Black' and '012 Bronze' - Phew these have long names. These are gorgeous pencil eyeliners that are creamy and blend easily. I find that they set pretty fast so I always work with one eye at the time. I love using these both for smudging on my eyelids and giving a more smokey look.

e.l.f. Studio Matte Lip Color 'Coral' - This is an oldy but goody. Beautiful matte coral color for the summer that lasts pretty well on the lips and doesn't feel too drying. I also have the 'Rich Red' color and like both of them a lot.

So those were all my favorites this month. I hope you had a great one and thank you for reading :)

March Favorites

Spring has officially arrived to Denmark today so let's kick it off with this months favorites!

Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil - mine is in the Dehydrated Skin formula. Every other night I put about half a pump of this on my face and a little bit down my neck and the skin is really hydrated and plump afterwards. It smells really good as well of orchid, which is the plant extract that is in it. I've used it for about two months now and still have a lot of it left so it will last you a long time as well.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream - I really love this eye cream. It goes on the skin so smoothly and makes the eye area feeling really smooth, concealer goes on so smoothly as well and the formula of this is so smooth! I'm not joking! I only use this in the morning and I love it for that, I still use my Dior eye cream mentioned here for nighttime. As mentioned it really makes applying concealer a lot smoother.

NYX Powder Blush 'Mocha' - this is maybe not exactly a spring blush, since it's a deep and super pigmented dusty pink color. I really like using it in the fall, but have for some reason reached for it a lot the past month. It gives a really fresh look to the face.

Mac Blush 'Melba' - I absolutely love this blush, it's great for all year around it works with every eye look or lipstick you chose to wear, I think this is a blush everyone should have in their collection because it just goes with everything.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids '912 Electric Orange' - as I menationed in this blog post orange lips are a big trend this spring and summer. And if you want to try it out but not sure if you'll like it I recommend going for a more affordable lipstick, like this one from Maybelline. The consistency is really nice, they are pigmented, smooth and feel really good on the lips, I absolutely love it and the color as well!

L'Oréal Matte Top Coat and Ciaté 'Sugar Plum' - I really love matte nail polish and a combination that I've really been enjoying this month and I'm sure I will do this spring and summer is the one I talked about in my matte pastels post a couple of weeks ago. The Ciaté nail polish also looks great in with the glossy look, but I've been liking the matte look especially much.

Those were all the stand-outs from this past month, I hope you enjoyed, got some inspiration and thank you for reading.
Have a great day! :)

February Favorites

Time for favorites let's get to it!

Face - I've been using my Maxfactor Bronzing Powder in 01 Golden almost every single day this month to warm up my face, I've talked about it some more here so you can read my rave there if you want to.
To moisturize I've been loving the The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream as a night time moisturizer (duh!) I really like the smell, consistency and it really does a great job of moisturizing and giving the face a little bit of a glow.
I'm not very good at using masks but after hearing so much rave about the Glamglow Youthmud masks I decided to bite the bullet and try it out, the one I have is in a limited edition package but it's the same as the regular black one. It gives a really nice glow to the skin and gets rid of all impurities.

Eyes - I finally got my hands on the new Urban Decay Naked 3 and I can not describe my love for it! It's so beautiful the colors are pigmented and blendable and every look I've created with this palette so far I've absolutely loved! I've used it every morning when I've had the extra time to do some eyeshadows, I love it and highly recommend it!
Next is a pretty new eyeliner, it's the first time I've tried this one and it's the best I've tried so far. It's the L'Oréal Super Liner in Black the felt tip is slim and easy to use and the eyeliner is very black, it makes it quick and easy to do a cat eye.
Lastly for eyes or under the eyes I should say is the Sigma Tapered Blending - E40 this is a blending brush but the one on the picture is a travel size that I got in the Mr. Bunny Travel Kit and because of the synthetic bristles I don't find it to be as easy to blend with as the regular E40 so what I've been using this one for is to blend concealer under the eyes and it works really great for that!

Lips - Earlier this month I talked about a little haul where I had purchased the limited edition Lip Glow from Dior in Coral but I have the original one too and I have to say I like the original a lot better. It's a beautiful lip balm that hydrates and gives a beautiful pink glow to the lips.

That is all for this month, I hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading!

January Favorites

Time to represent to you my january favorites, here we go!

Skincare - One new product that I tried for the first time this month is the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Reapair serum, I've heard a lot of great things about this and I can say it really makes my skin feel great and gives a nice radiance to it!
This next product I've been using for about two months and it's the Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Sorbet Eye Creme, I really like the sorbet like texture and it really hydrates my under eyes, that can tend to get pretty dry. I want to try the Bobbi Brown eye creme that I've heard a lot about, but I will let you know later on which one I like better.
Lastly is my new The Body Shop Facial Brush With Lid, it's a brush that I use a couple of times a week after I've removed my makeup to deeper clean my skin, it gently exfoliates and cleans the skin really well, leaving the skin feeling super soft!

Face - The past few weeks the weather here has been getting pretty cold and my skin quickly became more dry, I've had the Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat for about four months but it hasn't been until now that my skin has been more dry that I really started to like it. It has about medium coverage and is a bit dewy, so I felt that it made my t-zone pretty oily before. But now my skin is pretty dry I really like the moisture it gives!
Another face product, or cheek to be exact, is the Chanel Le Blush Créme De Chanel in 64 Inspiration I really like the flushed look it gives to the cheeks, but it has only been lately I've really started using it since I got a new brush that applies it perfectly, which I will come to in a minute. For a more in debt review of the blush look here.

Eyes - The Diorshow Fusion Mono have been into use a lot this month they are such easy one shadow eyeshadow look and are so pretty, I've already talked about them more here.

Lips - As mentioned earlier the weather has been very winter like the past weeks and my skin along with my lips got really dry, so I started using the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 01, it smells really nice of warm vanilla, it leaves a flush of color lots of shine and is super hydrating as well, so this has been my lip savior!

Nails - I think I have found my perfect spring/summer nail polish, I've already been wearing it a lot but I think I will get a lot of use out of this color in the warmer months. It's the Ciaté nail polish in Amazing Gracie and it's a beautiful light pastel pink, that will look great on tanned hands ;)

Brushes - the brush I talked about earlier is the Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Contour Brush that works really well with creme blush, it's super soft and applies the color evenly on the cheeks.

So that was all for this time, have a great day!

December Favorites 2013

It is again time to talk about the favorite things from the last month.

Face - I have been wearing the Clinique Stay-Matte Oil-Free Makeup foundation in 02 Alabaster almost everyday this last month, it is a great color for me right now and gives nice medium coverage and really helps my t-zone to stay matte for a longer time during the day.
I have also been using the blush and bronzer from the Laura Mercier Color-to-go Portable Palette for Eyes, Cheeks and Lips and I got mine in the color Natural Nudes, I have already done a look only using this palette here. And to further give my face some definition I've been using the powder side of my e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit in #D30 which creates I natural looking shadow to the hollows of your cheeks and down the nose.

Eyes - two eyeshadow I've been using most of the time this month has been from Make Up Store and I've been using Cashewnut all over the lid and Casual in the outer V and into the crease. When I haven't been wearing that combination I have most likely been using the eyeshadows from my Laura Mercier palette, that I really like as well!

Lips - my new favorite lip balm has become my Dior Crème De Rose lip balm, it hydrates my lips so well and keeps them chap-free and it also smells really nice of roses.
To get a little shimmer and color on my lips I have most of the time been using the lipgloss in the Laura Mercier palette which is a pale peach color with some tiny glitter parts in it. It's really pretty, smells great and is not sticky at all. I might want to buy some more of those!

Brushes - this month I have discovered my new favorite blush brush which I also talked about here. It gives you great control and precision over where you put your brush which I really like. To sculpt out my face I've been using Real Techniques Contour Brush which also gives really good precision.
For eyes I got four new brushes this month all from Sigma and I love them very much.
Blending - E25, Meduim Angled Shading - E70, Small Tapered Blending - E45 and Smudge - E21. These are all four now stables in my collection and I use them everyday for my eyeshadows. I highly recommend them!

Have a great day!

November Favorites 2013

It can only mean one thing when people start talking about november favorites... December and christmas are just around the corner! Jeeeey!

Face - Starting off with the face I first want to talk about the The Body Shop Vitamin C Energising Face Spritz I got this as a free gift a couple of months back when I purchased some items from The Body Shop and I've used it for some time now and can truly say I really like this face spritz! It smells like sun and just freshens up your face! I love using this in the morning or during the day if I'm feeling a bit tired.
The second thing I want to talk about, I have completely forgotten to mention in earlier favorites and have also had this for a couple of months now, it's the Laura Mercier Face Illuminator highlighter in Spellbound from her autumn collection. I love this highlighter, it gives a beautiful golden sheen to the cheeks and does not look sparkly! I've already talked about it here.
And lastly for the face I want to talk about an older product of mine and it's the Milani blush in 03 Beauty's Touch, but it's only lately I've started using it a lot, I love this one for the days I have to wake up early for school, this just brightens the face with a flush of illuminated color to the cheeks. I love it!

Eyes - Another thing I've been using every morning for school is the Clinique Chubby Stick For Eyes in 01 Bountiful Beige. One quick swipe across the eyelids and you're good to go. It brightens the eyes and makes you look a lot more fresh and awake. I would really like to try some of the other colors. Also I can wear this on my eyes all day without any primer and it does not crease, which never ever happens for me. Another plus!

Lips - I've really liked this lipgloss/lipstick hybrid for a long time, but last weekend I was at a christmas party with my work and I wore this the whole night trough eating and drinking and I only had to touch up once! It's a beautiful dark red matte color and stays put for hours! Oh and it's the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Amsterdam. I've talked about it before here.

Scent - I've been wearing this perfume from Zara literally every single day in the month of november. It's such a different and wonderful scent and the price is great too! For more in debt review of it look at my blog post here.

Hands - This is the only hand cream I've repurchased countless times through the years! And it's the The Body Shop Almond Hand and Nail Cream. It smells amazing and moisturizes the hands so well. I absolutely love it and will continue to repurchase it!

Brushes - This time I have three brushes to talk to you about.
First up we have the Sigma Precision Round - P82, I love using this for concealer underneath my eyes. It's super soft and feel really good to use under the eyes!
Next is the Sigma Tapered Highlighter - F35 and as the name says I use this together with my Laura Mercier Highlighter it applies the highlight really well on the tops of the cheek bones and down the nose!
And last but not least we have the Real Techniques Buffing Brush and this has to be one of the softest brushes I own. I love putting on foundation with this brush it feels soooo good against the face. It applies foundation quick, easy and seamlessly! I love it!!

So those were my favorites the past month. I had a really great month that went by sooo quickly!
I hope you had a great month too and have a great day!

October Favorites 2013

This months favorites have not been as many as some other months, but they are some good favorites non the less. So let's get started!

Face - First off we have my new blush from Lancome from their Rogue Désir fall 2013 collection and it's called Blush Rose Désir, I have a mini review here on my blog about it and I will link it here. I love this blush, this is absolutely one of the best ones I have in my collection, it's a really nice peach color with a mix of pink where the mouth is. I kid you not I have been wearing this every single day since I got it this month. If you can get your hands on it I highly recommend it!
Next for the face we have my The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, first of all I love the packaging! And I'm telling you this is the best makeup removing cleanser I have ever tried. It smells nice and is really gentle on the skin, and best of all it gets all your makeup off, even all the mascara. And it leaved your face feeling super clean and fresh. I think I will forever repurchase this cleanser, if I never find another one that is better, but right now I don't even want to try any others to see if they are better, this one is great!

Eyes - I have been using my new Make Up Store Eyeshadow Palette a lot this month, I bought it together with the Cashewnut eyeshadow, on the row to the right, second to the top, in the beginning of october after eyeing these two for several months. And I am so happy I did. The eyeshadows are great and the colors are soft and pigmented, and I've been really enjoying wearing Cashewnut all over the lid for a wash of color.

Lips - If you read my second latest blog post this will not come as a surprise to you, but my Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Protectant lip balm has been a savior this month and has basically been all I've been wearing on my lips most of the month and it has completely saved them from chappyness!

Nails - My O.P.I. Bubble Bath has been a favorite for a couple of months now, it's just such a nice nude color, when you don't know what you want on you nails this one is just so easy to throw on and it goes with everything.
And talking about the hand area my knuckle ring that I bought from a store here in Copenhagen called Norr has also been a good one this months. I searched for the longest time to find a nice and simple knuckle ring and it wasn't as easy as I tought but I finally found this gold plated one and I absolutely love it!

Brushes - My new Powder Brush from Real Techniques has been one of my favorites this month. It's big and fluffy and super soft it picks up product nicely and does not cake it on your face. I love using this for my powder to set my foundation!

That was all my favorites for this month. Have a great day!
