Most Used Brushes - Face

Today I want to share my most used face brushes (and a sponge) with you guys. Starting from the top.

As the name suggests this is a great brush for powder and that is also the only thing I use it for. It's big fluffy and soft and gets powder all over the face quick and easy.

This is also a big, fluffy and soft brush, but the tapered bristles make this brush a bit more versatile. Sometimes I use it for powder, sometimes for a quick dusting of bronzer around the face and sometimes even for blush.

Nars Yachiyo Kabuki Brush
I couldn't find a link to this one but I bought mine from hqhair.com. Maybe it's just sold out right now.
But this is probably my favorite brush out of all of them. I absolutely love it for powder blush, it makes application of blush very precise and blends the color out perfectly as well. I highly recommend it!

This is by far the best brush I've found for cream blush. It distributes the cream evenly and helps blend it out nicely as well. This is the brush that has given me hope when it comes to cream blushes because I always found them very difficult to work with, but no more!

Unfortunately this brush only comes in a kit, but all the brushes are very nice so I do still recommend the whole kit. But I've been especially enjoying the Contour brush, for exactly contouring or bronzing up my face. It's nice and precise but also blends the bronzer very well.

This is the only brush I use for highlight. It's really soft, picks up enough pigment and distributes it evenly on the skin. Highly recommend.

And lastly I have to mention the Beauty Blender. This is the only thing I use for foundation at the moment. And I can't stress enough how much you need this in your life! You dampen the sponge pick up some foundation with it and it will do the rest for you. Quick and easy your foundation is blended all over the face and will never look cakey. This thing makes your foundation look like it's actually your skin. It's amazing!

So these are my favorites at the moment. Thank you for reading! xo

  1. This reminds me that I should probably use my BeautyBlender again. I haven't used it in so long but I absolutely love it! xx
