MOTD : christmas party

About two weeks ago I was at a christmas party with my work and I wanted to share my outfit and makeup for the evening with you guys.

Today we're doing the makeup and on friday an outfit post will come. I hope you like :)

I was feeling a bit adventurous and played around with many different things in my collection, which is why the list of products will be pretty long. Some of the eyeshadows I used I could have used from one or two palette, but I chose to use three different ones, hehe... Oh well, I had fun!

Face - I used my new Clinique Stay-Matte Oil-Free Makeup Foundation and mine is in 02 Alabaster, and to cover my dark circles under the eyes I used my Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener in Light Bisque 2, for an under eye highlight I used L'Oréal Lumi Magique Stylo Touche De Lumière in 1 Light and to set all of that I used L'Oréal Nude Magique BB Powder in Light Skin Tone then I went on to the eyebrows and used my e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit in #D30 and used the waxy side for my eyebrows and used the powder side to contour it gives a really great shadow like contour and I used it on the hollows of my cheeks, the sides of my nose and a little bit on the temples of my forehead.

To bronze I used Nilens Jord Sun Powder in 531 which is matte and great for bronzing the whole face, for the cheeks I used another bronzer Maxfactor Bronzing Powder in 01 Golden which also is a really pretty bronzer but slightly more shimmery, so I just used it as a blush and lastly to highlight I used Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Spellbound, this is unfortunately discontinued but you may find it on ebay.

Eyes - I started of by priming my eyes with Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original, then I put Make Up Store eyeshadow in Casual in the crease as a transition color, all over the eyelid I used my highlighter from Laura Mercier with a heavy hand so it showed up like a pretty golden bronze shimmery color, it is really pretty for eyeshadow. To deepen up the outer V of the eye I used Maybelline Diamond Glow eyeshadow quadro in 06 Coffee Drama and used the darkest brown color to do so.

To highlight the inner corner I took my Urban Decay Naked Basics palette and used the only shimmery eyeshadow Venus it's such a beautiful inner corner highlighter.

For my waterline I used Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in 005 Nude and lined my upper lash line with the Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in 01 Black. And lastly for mascara I used a sample size of the Lancome Hypnose Custom-Wear Volume Mascara in 01 Noir, which I'm considering repurchasing in the full size I really like it a lot!

Lips - All I used on my lips was the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Amsterdam. It's a beautiful matte dark red color and it lasted all night long, I only had to reapply once!

To set all of this makeup I used my Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
