MOTD : Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow & Nars Audacious Lipstick

I wanted to show you guys two of the things I mentioned in my February Favorites.

On my eyes I'm wearing the Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow 'D-562', this shadow is a beautiful brown taupe with lots of silver shimmer and sparkle. When applied dry it gives a beautiful wash of shimmery taupe, but the way I love to wear it and the way I'm wearing it on the picture is wet and it gives a metallic shimmery look that I really love.

But a quick tip, load your brush with the eyeshadow and then wet the brush, don't wet the brush and then dip it in the eyeshadow, that will ruin the eyeshadow.

Unfortunately the pictures are not doing this eyeshadow justice. It's so much more metallic and shimmery in real life, it's so beautiful. You will just have to take a trip to Sephora and see for yourself.

On the lips I'm wearing Nars Audacious Lipstick 'Anita' which is a beautiful mauve nude for every day. But like I mentioned in my favorites post, the color suits me best when I dap it lightly on and it gives a matte finish that lasts really well.

I would love to pick up some other colors of the lipstick and eyeshadow at some point. The quality of both products is really good and even though they're a bit expensive you get a lot of product and wear out of them for the money!
