Nail polish colors are often very seasonal. This and this color is beautiful for winter, summer etc. etc. But I want to share five colors that I think work great no matter the season.
Ciaté 'Snow Virgin' - I think white is such a beautiful all year color. It look really beautiful agains summer tanned skin. But in the winter it also look great with the cold weather outside. Perfectly opaque with two coats.
Ciaté 'Amazing Gracie' - The most perfect nude everyday pink you will ever find. Look great on tanned or winter pale skin. Opaque with two coats but the color still look a tad better with a third coat on top.
O.P.I. 'Samoan Sand' - This one is the best nude nail polish for me. It's a perfect nude against my skin in summer as well as in winter. Also perfectly opaque with only two coats which is rare since it's such a light color.
O.P.I. 'Don't Bossa Nova Me Around' - A beautiful dusty lavender color with a bit of grey undertones, doesn't that just sound good?! This is a nice everyday neutral shade that will go with any outfit. Now this one is limited edition from O.P.I.'s Brazil collection so if you like it I would move quickly. I'm actually thinking of purchasing a back up since I love it so much and will probably cry when it's empty and I can't buy a new one. That's how much I like the color!
Also opaque with two coats.
Sally Hansen '420 Pacific Blue' - I just realized that this is a discontinued color, so the only place I could find it was on ebay and I linked the cheapest one I could find for you guys. If you plan on buying this nail polish just make sure that it's the old version, Sally Hansen came out with a new blue shade under the same number and name as the old one, but is not at all as pretty as the old one. I don't know why they would do that!
Anyway, this is a beautiful royal blue nail polish and is completely opaque in two coats. The depth of the blue I think is what makes it work really great for both winter and summer.
